Farm

The number of farms in the county has been increasing in the 21st century - growing vegetables, fruits, hay, & all manner of livestock, including poultry and those raised for their fur. Some sell only to farmer’s markets or from stands; some are quite larger operations. Many subscribe to permaculture & organic processes.
