Raccoon

The raccoon is one of many wild animals in the county; the High Ledges in Shelburne is a wildlife sanctuary owned by MA Audubon. The mammals include red and grey foxes, beavers, bears, bobcats, cottontails, eastern coyotes, fishers, moose, red, grey and black squirrels, skunks, possum, porcupine, woodchucks, & white-tailed deer.
